I was so moved when I first saw this book, especially since becoming a parent I realize all of the complicated feelings that surround bringing and raising a child in this world. This is part diary, journal, and illustrated story from different perspectives in one family unit. Written by a Dad about his journey to parenting his son with Down Syndrome this book comes as a call and a revelation and truly, we need more books like this one. It is heart wrenching, raw and beautifully honest in a really special way.
